Bette Krasnoff, BSc. Pharm., B.Comm., has a passion for quality and patient safety. As an early leader in the home infusion industry in Canada, she held several corporate positions. As Vice President, Pharmacy in one organization, Bette oversaw five home infusion pharmacies across Canada.
Bette’s expertise includes all aspects of the sterile compounding practice such as facility design, SOP development, training, quality systems, and compliance auditing. As VP, Pharmacy, she established best practices in both clinical and operational services. In 2012, she designed and qualified a new state-of-the-art pharmacy compounding facility in Hamilton, Ontario. This was one of the first GMP designed compounding pharmacies in Canada. She has worked with microbiologists in developing environmental and personnel monitoring programs that surpass NAPRA guidelines.
Bette has led many compliance audits such as regulatory, corporate, ISO, Accreditation Canada, and most recently, a Health Canada audit to secure a Narcotic Dealers License for a Drug Preparation Premises. She was instrumental in establishing a Drug Preparation Premises startup for an International generic drug company whose corporate guidelines matched European GMP. She was the clinical lead in designing the new DPP facility, SOPS, new technology for batch compounding, compounding manufacturing software and batch formulation templates.
